Like so many of you, I don't trust car dealerships in general. I have never posted a positive review of a dealership before. However, Maita Mazda really deserves kudos! I have looked at cars for the past 3 months & visited at least 7. Transparency & communications were so much better at Maita Mazda than everywhere else. Quotes by email were clear & messages were replied to quickly. All the final prices & details were exactly the same at closing as represented in emails. Sherri Wicksten was unusually good to interact with. Not just friendly, but very straight talking, knowledgeable & patient. It was obvious that she takes pride in her work, taking the car to fill it with gas, wiping off the windshield & exterior mirrors when she didn't know we were seeing her, and patiently spending a lot of time to explain the fabulous features in our new CX 5. Her partner Ira Carter sent very clear & complete quotes, unlike other dealers. Beth, the finance rep was not only very nice but very accurate & not pushy. Every number on the final docs was the same as on the quote received by email. No one had the "that's not my job" attitude & people worked together. Overall, the whole buying experience was thorough & well done, including quick installation of an option. Apparently there is a culture of how to do business the "right way" that is led by the General Mgr., who employees expressed great appreciation for.

Sherri immediately replied to my email requesting a quote and the price was more competitive than what other dealerships were offering. Ira answered all of my questions over the phone prior to the appointment and oversaw the actual vehicle purchase; he was great - courteous, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable! Shane in finance was incredibly patient as we thought through the additional Maita offers in the final purchasing phase. Overall, we are very happy that we made the drive out from Mountain View to Sacramento to do business with Maita Mazda!

The manual transmission on my 2016 Miata self-destructed on 10/12/19. I brought it in to Maita on Monday morning, 10/14/19. I was told on Thursday 10/17 that it would be replaced under warranty, that the new transmission would be at the dealer on Monday 10/21, and that I would have the car back on Tuesday 10/22. Although the part arrived on time on 10/21, the work did not start until very late on 10/22, and the car was not ready at close of business that day. I was told it would be finished the morning of 10/23. It is now 1:00 PM on 10/23, I am told the car is essentially repaired, but it will take several more hours for a test drive to be completed. What about a test drive by a technician takes "several more hours"? I have no idea if the car is really repaired or I am just getting the run around. All I want is a straight answer and my car back . Is that too much to ask? Why can't I get a straight answer? I have purchased 3 new Miatas over the years from Maita, but this may be my last one.

The service advisor, Christian Mammett, was very helpful and made sure that I have no worries about the maintenance service. He took care of me being able to go home and come back to get the CX-9 without having problems on transportation. I would like to talk about another good experience when I had the battery of the Mazda CX-9 checked on Aug 1, 2019. It was the 2nd time the battery got drained when the sound system was used with the engine not running in less than 1 hour. The technician said, nothing is wrong with the battery. As a new Mazda user (all my cars used/new were Hondas), I was hoping that there will be no more inconvenience with a dead battery. The service manager, Jim Gaftunik, decided to have it replaced! That made me a very satisfied customer!

We had an Awesome experience with Maita Subaru. To be honest our search for a new vehicle was really easy. My last Subaru, a B9 Tribeca lasted for 235,000 miles. I had that vehicle serviced as Maita Subaru and have had the Pleasure of working with Ben Lee as my service manager. He has been awesome. So we knew we were going to by a Subaru, and we knew we were buying from Maita. We had a wonderful experience working with Randy Wurschmidt as our sales person. He took his time with us and allowed us to see lots of different vehicles in the inventory and we drove them all. He was knowledgeable and patient with us, and a real pleasure to work with. Ira Carter in Internet Sales was awesome to work with. Very knowledgeable, patient and professional. He was not pushy and answered all of my questions about the car and lease financing without be frustrated. I liked the transparency at every turn in the deal. The best experience at a dealership. I had issues with my car, I took it to the dealership I bought it from, even though it is a Mazda and got horrible service. The problem didn't even get fixed. I made an appointment with Mazda and everything was smooth from start to finish. Making an appointment was easy, the gentleman at the front desk walked me through everything, I felt confident leaving my car with the technician. He called me when my car was done and made some recommendations for the future and throughly explained what was done to my car and what they found. It was so different than my first experience with another dealership. For all my service needs, I'm only taking my car here from now on. I'm very big on customer service and I feel like my car was definitely taken care of. My next car will be a Mazda just for the service I received here. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

I feel compelled to write a review about this service department. Good services is hard as nails to come by. I had researched my problem in the book and on u tube to no avail. I live close to Roseville Auto Mall, but refuse to go there because previous bad experience. This service department is the best I've ever been to. I dropped in today to ask how to change the Celsius to Fahrenheit on my Mazda 6, I had no appointment. To make along story short, Michael Scott and Raul, both mechanics, worked together a got it fixed right away for me. Michael also went above and beyond and synced my new phone to the car for me. It's wonderful to get such great service. They have and will keep my business.
